did the jobAug 06, 2010 I replace all my own watch batteries...on one fairly new watch, I couldn't get the back pressed back on to save my life (usually I can use my thumb). So I bought this tool and it did the job...will make up the price over the next few battery replacements.
Good and functionalFeb 01, 2010 A handy and functional tool for its designed purpose. Nothing fancy, just simple
enough to get the job done.
Broken watch faceJan 12, 2010 I strongly recomend people NOT to buy this product I had a $100 watch that I could not close the back cover after I replaced the battery. I thought this tool will save me money and a trip to the jeweler store instead, the very first time I used it, it cause the crystal face of my watch to crack. It cost me $60 to repair it at a watch repair shop. if we considered that I paid $18 for this tool I could have just paid that to any watch repair shop to put the cover back on my watch. Very unsafe tool and useless

It's missing a few things!Aug 13, 2009 1) It didn't have any instructions in my box.
2) The dies do not come in enough sizes (they need some larger sizes).
Eight is not enough!
Yeah! I had to say it!
3) I got it to close my watch but it damaged my crystal.
My crystal has a raised area around the date for easier reading.
They didn't have a crystal large enough to fit around the outside area of the watch.
I used the largest one to close the watch but the raised area around the date got crushed.
It closed pretty easy so I won't give it 1 star, but it really needs more dies and instructions.
Online I found the product but still no instructions.
If I had to purchase another closer, I would try "Little David".
It at least has instructions online.

Perfect Tool For The Job - Ultra-fast Delivery From Micro-ToolsJul 24, 2009 My wife had a watch that needed a new battery, so I pried off the cover and put in a new battery - that was over a year ago. It sat in a zip-lock bag during this time because I was unable to snap the back cover on. Finally, earlier this week, I had a fit of clarity and searched for a tool to do this.
Wandering onto the Amazon site, I found this tool and decided to take a chance. The package arrived the very next day - I had to do a double-take, because it seemed impossibly fast. After removing the tool, it took only 2 minutes to push the cover on. I highly recommend this tool purchased through Micro-Tools / Amazon.
