5Great combination of toolsFeb 17, 2008
By C. Barrett
I researched many of the other watch tools on amazon (single and sets) and found this to be a great value. Other sets had way more items but were upwards of $40 to $60 (plus I didn't need another set of jewelers screwdrivers, small hammers, pliers, etc). This has the bare bones of just about everything you'll need and having used each tool now, I am very happy w/ the performance of each. I have now changed batteries in four of my watches in addition to removing band links and it was fun! I highly recommend getting a watch movement holder when trying to pry the watch backs off as some small watches make it difficult to hold onto the watch while at the same time getting leverage to pry the back off. Also I discovered w/ rectangular watch backs, there is a very small "ledge" at the bottom of the back under which the blade of the watch opener tool can be wedged. Get a loupe so you can clearly see what you're doing and you'll be a pro in no time! The only negative to the link removal tool is the metal in which the band rests is very slippery (I plan to fix that w/ duct tape or rubber decals found at a local hardware store.

By Jan
This kit is exactly as presented. It's easy to use to do those simple repair jobs yourself like replacing a battery or adjusting a watch band. Good value for the money.
