These are admittedly a really great price, so they may be worth it for some customers. However, I was disappointed first that my package of nippers smelled strongly of some sort of oil or metal. Touching them transfers the smell onto you immediately. I didn't try to clean them up since they were to be stocking stuffers and I didn't want to risk giving something stinky to my family. I was going to use them for sewing, too, and I'd be afraid of the nippers dirtying my fabric. Also I assumed the "stopper" in the description would be a latch like other nippers I've used in the past. The stopper, however, is just a plastic case that you can put the tool in while squeezed shut--kind of hard to do and doesn't feel as safe as I'd like. The seller was really great about issuing a refund and actually didn't even ask me to ship them back, so I won't lose out on return shipping costs.
