It's cheap plastic that doesn't hold up to being used as a jig set. And too tiny to hang onto or really work with.

The thing-a-ma-jig is smaller than I thought it would be, and it only comes with 3 design ideas, but it's really kind of nifty. If you buy or create other designs, really, the possibilities are limitless. It would be nice if it came with a reclosable container. I keep mine in a zipper baggie, you don't want to lose those small pieces!

I personally like this product. When I got it I was happy about trying to make better curly wrapped wire. I could not have done anything closely resembling a pretty wrapped wire before this Jig came in a box. With this Jig, I think I have made several really pretty earrings. I am so happy with it... It is made of primarily plastic items but they all work and even though they do not all stay perfectly in the holes at all times it's not hard to put the pegs back into place-the wire isn't going anywhere while you replace a peg. I like it and it is very fun to work with. I can tell that it is not really for the advanced jewelry making person. Jewelry making is fun-enjoy more with a Jig!
