The sizing stick(ring mandrel) I received was not the same as the one pictured. It has grooves cut down the length of both sides,and it is so light weight that it appears to be hollow. If I were to use this to enlarge a ring, I'm afraid I may dent the mandrel.

Quality set. Ring sizers are sturdy metal and polished well. Sizing stick is finished very well and easy to use, with accurate sizing. Heavy enough to design rings on and remove them easily. Great set, definitely worth the money.

Both the ring sizer and the mandrel are made of heavy quality metal, and should last quite a while. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 is because the mandrel is not perfectly round, rather it has two flat sides where the numbers are marked. This is fine for sizing a ring, but if you want to use it to make round jewelry of a particular size, it's not a great tool.
