"shining silver"
I wear a lot of silver rings and they sometimes get out of shape just from wearing them. This tool is perfect for reshaping them.

By Mouse I bought this to size my rings (I own many) for ordering new rings. My friend is a metalsmither and also makes jewelry, and she told me it was a good buy. More than what I needed for my purposes...a sort of overkill if you will. But nice.

Significantly different than product picturedNov 01, 2011
By Lara Kelly I selected this mandrel because I wanted a steel one that was heavy duty for jewelry making and the handle area was smooth (just seemed like it would be easier on my hand). However, I'm a bit disappointed in the one I actually received because the handle area is diamond textured and quite rough. I know it will still get the job done and it appears good quality, so I guess I have to overlook this inconsistency.
I see that the description alludes to "slight variation in color or design" so I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I would warrant this is more than a "slight" change in design. I would hope the seller "My Deals Direct" would update their photo.

Excellent tool !Jul 23, 2010
By Vadim This mandrel is just what you would expect from a tool. It is very clenanly made with a good surface and hard enough to make rings directly on it, not just resizing them.
