It will do the jobOct 26, 2007

I worked in fine jewelry for many years, and this is not the same quality mandrel that we used professionally; this is lighter-weight and doesn't have the same smooth, heavy feel of the professional mandrel. That said, it will tell me what size my rings are, and allow me to gently re-shape them when the shank bends, so for my personal use, it will do fine.
