I can only wear 14 Kt gold earrings due to sensitivity to other metals. I bought the "Real Gold Plated Earring Backs (Earnuts) Medium." So far I have not lost one back from my earrings. They fit tight on the earring back and stay in place.I have had no irritation from them since they are real gold overlay. I would recommend these to anyone. I'm glad that I found these because I got tried of paying a lot of money for a pair of gold earring backs only to lose them. UPDATE 1/31/11 On my review of the earring backs. After wearing one pair for a while without ever removing my earrings,whenI did remove my gold studs,I found the back had turned black! I will still wear the ones I have, which are plenty, but change them more offen before they turn black. The price is cheap enough to throw old ones away. I'd still recommend them to a friend as long as they make sure they don't turn black.

This is an incredible buy! I have very sensitive skin and wearing gold plated earrings helps prevent my ears from becoming agitated. I wear tiny earrings and was worried that these backs would be too big but this was not the case. These worked perfect for me, no irritation whatsoever. Not to mention how often I lose my earring backs I won't have to worry about buying replacements for a long time! Would definitely recommend to anyone who makes jewelry or is constantly losing their backs.

Nickel allergy free, great value, great appearance! The mall jewelers wanted to charge me $5 per ONE gold backing, not a pair!! I'm so glad that I was able to find 100 of these that doesn't look like a backing from where 13year olds shop their chip jewelries and they work great! Now I can stop taking backings from one earing to another. Love love love it!

These earring back replacments are great! They fit tight on earring. I can wear them with confidence of not losing another earring or the back! I have had no trouble wiht irratation or reactions to these backs. I feel that they are priced right and a good buy. If you are looking for repacment backs for earrings give these a try.
