This item appeared cheap and defective in multiple respects. One loupe simply didn't focus at all (with without glasses) at any reasonable distance. The working distance of the other one was far shorter than advertised (more like 4 inches). The image was only sharp in the center half. Focusing required quite a bit of torque, almost enough to practically twist it out of its mount. The optics appeared to be cheap plastic. The adjustment for the spacing between the loupes worked very poorly. I can't recommend this to anyone.

The Edroy 2.5X magnification loupes with a working distance of 10-12 inches are a good buy. They have helped me do neck vascular surgery in the cat and peripheral nerve surgery also. It helps with close up dissection of the fascia off of the carotid and external jugular. It helps with identifying the sites, stomas, for cannulation of vessels with catheters. I am anticipating using them with spinal surgery also. I think they are worth 90.00 USD. They have adjustable eye pieces which allow you to move the lenses medially and laterally with a screw. They are mounted on a headframe.
