New 3000 Grit Diamond Pacific Nova Wheel. This is a new Diamond Pacific Nova wheel. This is a 3000 grit pre-polish wheel with a terra-cotta color. This is a nova resin bond diamond sanding and polishing wheel. With Nova wheels, sanding and polishing stones doesn't have to be a tiresome battle with flat spots and scratches. The nova wheels get results fast. The diamonds are embedded within a tough, flexible plastic resin and backed by soft and thick rubber. This soft, flexible construction enables the surface of the Nova wheel to conform to your stones, eliminating flat spots and scratches. Must be used with water as a coolant. We recommend that Nova wheels be used in sets rather than in combination with other types of sanding and polishing wheels. The best all-purpose sequence is the 280, 600, 1200 and 14,000 grit wheels. This combination will put an excellent polish on most stones. Some hard to polish materials may require more steps between the 1200 and 14,000 wheels or a finer polish than the 14,000 such as the 50,000 grit wheel. In many cases using 50,000 compound, cerium or tin oxide on a polishing pad following the 14,000 wheel will achieve excellent results. There is a 1" (25 mm) arbor holes and come bushed to fit 3/4" (19 mm), 5/8" (15 mm) and 1/2" (12 mm) arbors. It measures approximately 6" x 1 1/2" (152 x 37 mm).
