Haven't taken a bullet in the eye yet, but sparks from a die grinder cutting coil springs and miscellaneous metal get stopped in their tracks. They fit generically well too..

Light weight, comfortable for bigger head but like one of the guys who got a scratched glasses on the side, I did too, but too much trouble to return it for this price. I think its a 50 50 shot of good or scratched.
