These pliers make it so much easier to work with the split rings. I did have to look up suggestions on using the tool on the Internet, but once I got some direction, it was really easy to use. I would definitely recommend this for anyone makeing charm bracelets or other jewelry using split rings.

Cheap but work great!Jul 16, 2010
By LoveTheCoast Working with 9mm split rings, these are a life saver! The construction isn't the greatest, but then I didn't expect it to be at this price. Time will tell if they hold up, but for a couple of bucks, they've already paid for themselves!

Annoying Design FlawMar 14, 2011

These pliers would work MUCH BETTER if they had a spring to keep them open like any other normal pair of pliers. The actual split-ring part works fantastically, but it's a total pain to fiddle and fumble them open every time I use them.
I ended up purchasing another pair at Michaels for about the same price (after using a 40% off coupon).

You get what you pay for!Mar 03, 2011
By J. R. Smith - Upland, Ca. This is one of those tools that I don't use that much but when you need it, YOU NEED It. The jaws are very thin and narrow. The little wedge that opens the split ring is very small. It does not open the ring all that much because the wedge is very shallow. This is a good little tool for the very smallest of split rings. It's make in Pakistan but the quality is pretty good.
The shipping cost more than the item so you get what you pay for.
