4Nice Little ToyMar 08, 2010
This battery tester is not fancy, but it tests batteries, and that's all I wanted. I found it to be a good value for the price, and I can carry it in my tool bag.

5So easy, my 6-year old can use itMar 08, 2010
My requirement was an analog battery meter for 1.5V and 9V batteries, but without any wires. This fits that requirement at the lowest price.

5Excellent Battery TesterMar 07, 2010
This is a great tester that works like a charm. Inexpensive and requires no batteries.

4Good valueMar 05, 2010
Not the best quality, but it's better than I expected for the price I paid. I doubt I'll use it very often (maybe once a month) so it should be fine. I'd give it 5 stars but I couldn't get the 9 volt tester on the top to work. Of course, it's possible the battery I was testing was dead but I thought it was new.

4works but could be betterMar 02, 2010
The readings match that of an A.W. Sperry multimeter/voltmeter. So I can tell you it works! However, unlike my previous battery tester, it doesn't have slots for you to easily position the battery. You'll need 2 hands: one on the battery and one on the meter. As a result, a younger child may not be able to do it right and end up throwing out good batteries. For me, using it is almost as cumbersome as using the Sperry multimeter.
