Best of the cheap pocket scopes.Apr 24, 2012
By KendoGuy If you know what a trichome is, you'll want to get this scope. I have both this and the Carson MM-100 MicroMax. Here's how they stack up against each other:
The MicroMax is half the size of the SE MW10085. This makes it harder to hold and focus unless it is on a table. The MM has a puny LED which doesn't provide enough light to see much. The SE MW10085 has a great zoom slider and focus wheel which are easy to operate while looking through the lens. The MMax is much harder to focus in situ without moving it all over and losing the object to be viewed. In fact, the only thing I liked about the MMax is the rubber eyepiece (no biggie).

i like cheap...Nov 07, 2011
By Frank Marshall this is great for maginifying anything you may need it for. the item is a bit bulky and i doubt it would fit in many pockets, especially with the base. otherwise worth the money

Not bad!Nov 04, 2010
By Tamer it's not as small as I thought it will be, u need a big pocket for that:). the LED light helps a lot with clarity and getting more depth in to a object, the tray is nice if you are using slides, as a beginner starting out with the tray is best tell you get a hand of using it! the zoom works well. you will have to constantly change bout weals as you go, if u change one you basically want to change the 2nd one for better results. 3.06$ is a nice deal, 3.60$ for shipping, the box was half smashed by the time it got here! But it works so I can't complain there; over all not bad. I ordered it on Friday (was shipped on "same day") got it on Wednesday.
