 Nice small diameter split ringsMay 14, 2010

These are perfect if you need small diameter (9mm = 11/32in) split rings. These have straight ends, not the helful kink that you usually see in larger diameter rings, i.e. they tend to catch on those ends. Otherwise nice quality. Come in handy for all kinds of projects. I've been looking for small split rings everywhere, and before finding these never saw anything smaller than ~1/2 in. The bag of 50 is already half empty, since I had many projects that needed small rings. I wouldn't be surprised if I have to order another bag soon.

I got these with an Amazon deal which inclued 100 6mm split rings. The quality is great. Some say they are small. It might help if you look at a ruler first and then order. There was no shipping & handling with "FindingKing." This was a big plus. I hate paying more for shipping then the item itself costs.

As long as you know you are going to get small rings, you should be good. There are exactly as expected. I was a bit disappointed that you could get them cheaper on the seller's website, i.e. the shipping cost is built in (more than enough included) and that's why shipping is free.

There is nothing wrong with the quality of these rings, but they are too small to be slipped on larger keys (like car keys, key fobs) without bending out of shape. Another reviewer mentions that these do not have the small kink larger rings have to keep them from catching fabric, but the ones I received do have a kink.
I recommend key rings that are at least 1/2 inch for the larger keys. For other uses these rings should be fine.

In a bag of 50, I received 3 split rings that were malformed during fabrication. For the price, I'd much rather not see any of my split rings defective. Or an employee could have removed those items from my purchase but decided to leave them in there. Either way, split rings that are fabricated properly work well and exactly what I paid for. Minus 3 defective rings.
