These arrived exactly as advertised and are getting the job done in my Swarovski crystal tennis bracelets. Easy to use and they appear to be durable so far. (It has been a few weeks and none have come open or tarnished yet.)

OK but tarnishes quicklyMay 11, 2012
By JGSalty Bought these as an inexpensive way to fix a gold chain. I knew these would eventually tarnish since they are gold plated but didn't think it would happen so fast. I fixed the chain last night. Worn the chain all night and this morning the jump ring is tarnished. No problem for me since it cannot be seen but be aware if you are planning on using these on something readily visible. They are a good gauge, sturdy, and the shipment was amazingly fast. So three stars.

I work on watches and jewelry. occassinally clasps breaks aloose from the chain or whatever the item may be. well these little babies came in real handy for a lot of my wife's jewelry and some friends. the beauty of it is if you are not in to soldering this could be your next best option and so far with my wife they seem to retain there color. I purchased them several months ago from Amazon.
