I purchased these ring guards for my daughter's 14k gold and diamond birthstone ring, a gift for her 18th birthday! I purchased the ring a half size larger than her normal ring size so she'll be able to wear it for several years. The ring guard is easy to adjust so that the ring can fit comfortably and securely! Now my daughter and I don't have to worry about the ring slipping off her finger and getting lost!

After losing weight, my large engagement ring was slipping and sliding. After losing it in the trash and digging through the muck to find it, I decided to try a ring guard. The metal ones looked more sturdy and had better reviews. They arrived in a set of 3, but no instructions. Being instruction-impaired, I looked for and found a YouTube video explaining how to apply the guard. Easy.

i have a ring that cannot be sized down that i was in fear of losing. this little item was genius. i used a little set of pliers to make sure that the ends were flush with the ring and tightly wrapped around the band.
i have since worn the ring showering, washing dishes, baking, doing my hair, etc, etc, and it hasn't caught on anything and is still perfect looking (about a month)
i really think you need to use a tool to affix, dont expect to do it just wiht your fingers otherwise you will be frustrated with the results.

Finally found something that actually makes my ring fit! This item is nice because once you install it, it stays on nicely. It does not hurt my finger like other ring sizers have. Make sure to order a few extra, because it takes a little practice to actually get it on the ring so it lays smoothly. I used needlenose pliers. I love it!
