If these are dropped the lids will not flip open. The front edge of each compartment is rounded making the contents easily retrievable. Each compartment measures approximately 3/4" x 15/16" (19 x 24 mm). Each tray measures approximately 3" x 2" x 1/2" (76 x 51 x 13 mm).
