These bits bend like annealed iron. You can literally bend them into a ring with just your fingers. Somehow they still work ok. I am guessing only the tips are hardened.

The case is horrible. It's very difficult to open without spilling bits everywhere.

But for hand drilling/dremel work, they're great. For sure, these bit are UNBREAKABLE! Very bendable, but not breakable. Just take care when handling them, as you can very easily bend them on accident. :)

3Good Bits, Terrible CaseJan 12, 2009
By D. Blake
The drill bits were fine, they do what they're supposed to do but the case they came in is just a cheap little plastic thing that is miserable to open. Toss the case in the trash and store the bits some other way and you'll be happy.

2Become blunted very quickly on metalMar 04, 2009
By lena-lena
These bits start out fine, but become blunted and unusable after about half a dozen drilled holes in any metal. I attempted to use these bits for drilling holes in copper and silver, which are soft metals and should be fine for any hardened steel implements. Lubrication doesn't help in any noticeable way. You get what you pay for, I suppose.

5The Plastic box.Dec 09, 2010
By George Norman "Georgeconna"
Lads,

The Clear part slides up and down over the blue part and there should be a little hole where the Drill bit slides out. There is no need to open the box at all.

I've been using them for years and only found out now. LOL!!!

cheers

George

5smallest drill setAug 08, 2009
By P. Boussina "pezhman boussina"
I needed to drill thread size hole inside a piece of plastic, I thought about doing it with a hot needle but did not want any heat mangling in the area. I bought this and did not expect much. The case is hard to open, need to use a screw driver and open very gently or all the pieces will fall. I used the pieces with my deremel to drill the plastic piece. I was very please with the results. I can not do with out this bits at this time. I wiahed I had a better case. The bits are too small for any of the case that I have.
