Tiny, Tiny, TinyFeb 18, 2010
By D. Kearns These backs as so tiny they're difficult to handle and even more difficult to put on an earring. Even without the earring being in my ear, the hole is so small, they wouldn't slide on many of the posts. Then try putting one on an earring when it's in your ear and you can't see what you're doing! I've used similar white, soft backings (which I prefer to the clear hard onesEarring Backs Safety Backs For Fish Hook Earrings Medium (144)), but these are too small to be practical.

They're OKJan 11, 2012

I've been using these rubber back stoppers with shepherd's hook earrings. I find that 2 out of 3 of these backings have holes in them that work. So, I throw about 1/3 of them away because of a lack of a usable hole through the backing. I didn't need 144 of them anyway, so this works for me. I really just needed about 10 of these that work to keep the earring on my ear, and I now have that.

Everything about them is TOO SMALLJan 01, 2011
By S. Adams The stoppers are too small and the holes are too small. They don't fit on a single pair of french wire earrings that I have because the holes are too small. And when I try to put a stopper on an earring that's already in my ear, I can not tell if they are even oriented correctly because (you guessed it) they are just too small and you can't feel which way the ends are pointed. Not worth sending back, but I will be looking for something bigger.

Rubber backs for very thin earringsNov 15, 2010
By Carol I bought this specifically because of a bad review that said that the hole was too small. I've been searching for an earring back for a very thin fish hook earring and this is it. The only thing I would change about it is the color. I would prefer clear but the white is ok.

Too hard to handleSep 23, 2010
By Diana These safety backs are difficult to slide onto the earrings until they have been used multiple times, because the holes are a bit too small. Since I am fumble-fingered, I drop them constantly. This hasn't been as much of a problem with safety backs that have come with some of my earrings. Otherwise, they are fine.
