These clock movement sets are so awful. They arrived late, and the packing was very poor, no foam/peanuts/etc, just 12 small white boxes stacked into a bigger box to hold them all. Each set of hands came in a tiny plastic bag inserted in each box containing each movement. The hands were bent, particularly the second hands which were SO flimsy you could barely put them on the movement without bending them. All the hands had a crappy plastic coating that was peeling off in various stages. Most of the second hands had this coating hanging off in little strings, which I had to pull off. On the minute and hour hands the coating had come partially off in chunks, so they all looked like they were water damaged. All the hands were so incredibly flimsy that adjusting them so that they would not hit each other as they move often meant bending them by accident. The hands are also very ill-fitted for the movements they came with, so they do not easily stay perpendicular to the shaft of the movement. Two of the movements themselves did not work on arrival, even after trying several different (brand new) batteries. I ended up having to buy new hands for the remaining movements at my local Hobby Lobby and Michaels, which looked just like the hands that come with some other movements and cost as much, and I really wish I had just bought those instead of going cheap, because I spent much more this way on the parts I had to replace. The only good thing I could say is that the movements that did actually work worked fine with store-bought hands and so far seem to keep time well. With the money you spend extra because you bought these cheap, broken movement sets you could have bought the next most expensive ones on Amazon individually and not have to deal with the problems I did, not to mention they look a LOT nicer and more sturdy. Don't be temped by how much less they are- it's really not that much and the difference isn't worth it! Also, I never got a reply when I e-mailed the seller (through Amazon) TWICE, first saying that I had not received them (they were 3 days late) and second to report that every set had something wrong with it or was broken outright. I can't return them since I did use 10 of the movements (I used them to make clocks for a DIY Christmas and did not have the money to purchase store-bought movements while waiting for a refund, otherwise I would have returned them). Don't make the same mistake I did!

By bigbs1500 The shipping was fast. The product was cheap. When I went to put in the batteries all of the housing broke. Also all of the hands were all bent up in the boxs. So I had to replace my order with someone else. To bad I wasted my money.
