I got this set to use on gourd carving. I have not used them on wood, but the smaller chisels work great on dried gourds for various artistic faces and creatures. They are really sharp, so should work fine for small wood projects. The quality is good for the price. I would buy these again.

You can buy this set of 'tools' at Harbor Freight for $6. That's about what they are worth. You can tune them up with a stone - I did.
